User Agreement
Welcome to Chekodi! This User Agreement ("Agreement") constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and Chekodi regarding your use of our platform and services. By accessing or using Chekodi, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of Chekodi after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
- By creating an account or using Chekodi, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Chekodi
- If you are using Chekodi on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms
- You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Chekodi complies with all applicable laws and regulations
2. Account Registration and Security
Account Creation
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- You may only create one account per person
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
Account Security
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must use a strong, unique password and keep it secure
- You may not share your account credentials with others
- We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account
3. User Conduct and Responsibilities
You agree to use Chekodi in a lawful and respectful manner. You are responsible for all content you post, share, or transmit through our platform.
- You will not violate any applicable laws or regulations
- You will not infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
- You will not post false, misleading, or deceptive information
- You will not engage in harassment, bullying, or hate speech
- You will not spam, scam, or engage in fraudulent activities
- You will not interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
- You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
- You will comply with all applicable community guidelines and rules
4. Content Ownership and License
Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you post on Chekodi. However, by posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on our platform
- Modify, adapt, and create derivative works for platform functionality
- Promote and share your content within the Chekodi community
Content Requirements
- You must have the right to post the content you share
- You may not post content that violates others' intellectual property rights
- You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with all applicable laws
- We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms
5. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on Chekodi:
- Posting illegal content or content that promotes illegal activities
- Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other users
- Spreading false information or engaging in deceptive practices
- Impersonating others or creating fake accounts
- Using automated systems, bots, or scripts to interact with the platform
- Manipulating engagement metrics or platform algorithms
- Attempting to hack, exploit, or compromise platform security
- Collecting or harvesting user information without permission
- Engaging in commercial activities without authorization
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations
6. Platform Availability and Modifications
- We strive to provide continuous access to Chekodi, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the platform at any time
- We reserve the right to perform maintenance, updates, or improvements that may temporarily affect service availability
- We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from service interruptions
- We may add, remove, or modify features and functionality at our discretion
7. Intellectual Property Rights
Platform Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Chekodi, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and code, are owned by Chekodi or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Restrictions
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our platform without permission
- You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without authorization
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our platform
- You may not remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
8. Account Termination
Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use Chekodi will immediately cease.
Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if:
- You violate this Agreement or our community guidelines
- You engage in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activities
- You fail to pay any fees (if applicable)
- We are required to do so by law or court order
- We determine that termination is necessary to protect our platform or users
Effect of Termination
- Upon termination, your access to Chekodi will be immediately revoked
- We may delete or retain your content and data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- Provisions of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect
9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
Service Disclaimer
Chekodi is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
Content Disclaimer
We do not endorse, support, or verify the accuracy of user content. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users and the content you encounter on the platform.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chekodi and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the platform.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chekodi, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the platform, your violation of this Agreement, your content, or your violation of any rights of another party.
11. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
If you have a dispute with Chekodi, we encourage you to contact us first to seek an informal resolution. We will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith.
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under this Agreement will be brought in the appropriate courts.
12. Changes to This Agreement
We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Agreement on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Chekodi after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the modified terms, you must stop using the platform and may delete your account.
13. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
14. Entire Agreement
This Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy and Community Rules, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Chekodi regarding your use of the platform and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.
